New Hair...

Wow, 2 posts in a week! crazy.
Well I decided to get my hair color-melted/ombre'd, color wheeled...whatever it is called...
It is a LOT darker than it has been in a long time. But far more healthy for my hair, and actually closer to my natural color. new hair yay!

Life's a Ball & Such...

The Talent and I went to Barristers Ball last week {aka law school prom}...It was a lot of fun, and pretty much just like prom. Okay, not just like prom. {My prom was held @ a Toyota car dealership (NOT KIDDING)...so weird}.The Talent just shot a gig with Select Comfort, who do those awesome Sleep Number Beds...I'll def post when we get to see something. ALSO the trailer for the movie {Darling Companion} he shot in 2010 is up, I think it comes out in April. Go here to see the clip. Other than that, he has been super busy with work, traveling almost every week across the country, and even out of the country.

School is good. I'm on spring break, which isn't really a break at all. It is more like a break from classes, but constant studying still. oh well...I am stoked because I got accepted to the Global Arbitration Program this summer in London, so I will be living there for a bit {while the Olympics are there! WURD!} I also got elected to be a 2L Representative for next year with the Student Bar Association, so next year should be a lot of fun.

Anywho...that is us right now...lots going on...lots and lots and lots and lots...but we wouldn't want it any other way. :)

Winter Carnival...

We went to the 2012 Winter Carnival with friends yesterday. It was cold. It was fun. Welp, back to studying...

Calm B4 the Storm...

Christmas was good. It was nice to go back to Utah and see our families...I wanted to see our friends, but between getting sick and our families booking our every second, we didn't get to see them :( (raincheck!)

I start classes on Tuesday again for the Spring semester, and finally picked up my books. This semester I start Constitutional Law (among my other 5 classes), which I was stoked for......then I saw THE BOOK. (here it is next to my old contracts book...it's MASSIVE) Could they make it any bigger? I am going to have back problems after this law school shin dig, luggin all these books around, sheesh!

I FINALLY got my grades back, and I did waaaaaay better than I thought I would. You hear all of these rumors that the professors are hard graders and only give so many A's, B's and the rest are C's...so I was nervous! But I got all of my grades back with a huge sigh of relief! Because I studied waaaaay too hard to get a bunch of C's I tell ya. :)

MN is cold. I think it was a high of ten degrees today. I think it is cozy though. I have my fireplace going, my cats cuddling with me, and just enjoying the light snow flurries blowing outside. Jon is on another business trip (in warm, sunny CA), so I tonight I am making myself the fine cuisine of spongebob squarepants shaped kraft mac and cheese...only the best for my refined pallet. ;)

Well, I will be on Hiatus again for a bit...not that anyone reads this anymore. Oh well, journal for me to look at someday. :)

Can I get a "heck yeah!"?!?

FINALS ARE OVER! Officially as of 5:00pm tonight...I am still pinching myself.

Alls I gots to say is, "How did I ever think undergrad was hard?"

Seriously, law school is a butt-kicker. The last few weeks I have been putting in 12 hour study days (and oh, how I WISH I was exaggerating).

But I love it. I really do. And my brain is officially fried, so I am thankful for an entire month of school off until mid January.

Winter be here...

Well winter has finally found us :) Our view outside our window right now, and then the talent and I @ MOA by the Christmas Decor, from last weekend. Time to curl up with my case books and study. Tis the season!
