The Talent and I just returned from our future motherland, where we bought casa #2.

We were really glad to find a place in 4 short days, put in an offer, and get it. It is in a really great area, about 20 minutes away from the University. It has a fireplace for the cold winters, thus it will be vunderbarrrr! It was nice to see our future stomping grounds in the green of the season...last time we took trek up there it was muddy, muddy, and B L A H. Right now it is hilly, lush, green, green, and more green. I actually really like it up there. It is gorgeous and summery. Which I love even more because I cannot stand the reaction I get from people when we tell them where we are moving.
Mostly people from Utah (who have never been there), they always say things like, "EWWWW", or "Yuuuuuck"...I giggle a little, because if you've actually been there, you know how great it actually is. I am really, truly, looking forward to it. So, all the skeptics can just shutty.
Ooooh, also...I quit in 2.5 weeks...seems really weird. Looking forward to it, although it frightens me to not have a schedule every day. I don't do well with idle time...luckily I have like 6 books to read before school starts (because yes, there is even homework in the summer)...
AND after I quit, we are going to Cabo in Mehhhhhico for a week with the Talent's fam. That will be a great kick off, before we actually kick off to the Midwest.
ANYWHO, that is life right now. Exciting, fun, scary, nervous, and wonderful.
Let's do this chumps!
